What is Counselling?

Counselling provides an opportunity for people to talk in confidence about any kind of personal difficulty, problems or feelings and to explore ways of dealing with them and consider appropriate change.

At St Barnabas House we have counsellors and psychotherapists who are very experienced and highly qualified, working with individuals, couples, families, children and adolescents.

As a private counselling centre we have the advantage of no waiting lists and safe, comfortable and professional surroundings for both practitioners and clients, with the assurance of considerable expertise. Clients are seen by appointment.

Additional Information

In 2017 we took over the ground floor of the premises at St Barnabas House. We needed to do some serious renovation and take two walls down to make the building into one again, after years of being separated. This has given us the opportunity to develop and grow as a business. We can now offer 2 rooms for meeting, presentations, workshops and group work. With kitchen and bathroom facilities adjoining both rooms it is an excellent space for large groups (20 people).
